BOXFORD PARK the movie
Trillo and Suede have scratched a living for years amongst the hoodlums and grifters of the mean streets of New York.
Now they’ve come to England. Invited by a distant uncle who happens to be Chief Constable of an English police force, to see how the British cops do things. They find themselves at Boxford Park, for a weekend’s rest and recreation at an English Country House Weekend.
But we all know what happens at the weekend in English Country Houses. Lady Boxford’s sister is found dead - a heart attack, says the doctor. But what about that bloody kitchen knife?
What’s the guilty secret of the house? What’s the significance of the photograph taken at the wedding of a human - and a puppet? Can it be that the old lady Dowager, talked about but never seen, is in fact more wooden than the family want to admit?
Could it be that the real secret of the English aristocracy, hidden for hundreds of years, is that they’ve more than just hearts of oak?
Hang on for the wisecracking culture-clashing ride as Trillo & Suede sort the wood from the trees.
