From puzzleperson on Sept 20, 2006 I have seen the Trillo and Suede short and believe there should be not one, but more shorts as well as features of the team. Their characters and backgrounds are the kind that can be seen in almost any situation, and still be entertaining. Think of Sam Suede trapped by a toy king in a toy store, or Trillo is kidnapped and only Suede can save him? Sam Suede is just inches away from the circular saw, but manages to cut himself loose with a splinter. Or Trillo has found true love and Suede has not seen him for many days and goes off to get his partner back, but finds that his partner's love is not as they seem.
Before I go off on all of these stories, I'll get to the point. They are plenty worthy of a series of teamlike features, as well as other things to entertain an audience. I haven't seen much of a show like that since Howdy Doody and Charlie McCarthy. There needs to be a new puppet of a hero. And of course, his trusted partner, Mr. Trillo.
from Matt Wallace on 10 Sept 2006 The world of Trillo and Suede is too rich and the concept's too broad for Oxford Park. But what I really want to know is what we can expect in their feature-length debut?
from MoreAdventurous on 10 Sept 2006 I love your guys' idea! You have the talent AND the great concept to match! I can't wait to see a Trillo & Suede feature-length!! I love how the idea pays wonderful tribute to one of the most dynamic eras of film: the film-noir. I have a lot of respect for the evident amount of talent that is put into this.
reply from J, Doss on Sept 11, 2006 The short Oxford Park was great. I can not wait for a full length feature. Keep us posted on the progress.
from Frank Cotolo on Sept 10, 2006 It is about time for filmdom to take the steps to blend traditional with contemporary. One way to do this, of course, is to support the Trillo & Suede movie project.
This is the time for a whole new audience to discover the magic of such an act. The mood is right, now, for the values of a great comedic act like Trillo & Suede to be spread upon the screen. It is time for this like it is time for more comedy teams and film farces and for the energy of Saturday afternoon matinees to burst upon a new generation.
The Trillo & Suede movie could ignite such a renewal. It is time we exposed the world that is overexposed to that which it adored and which now goes ignored.

from Bank-robber0 on 9 Sept 2006 sam the puppet and jonathan surely do deserve some spotlight and a TV series. I think that folks of all ages would find it enjoyable and entertaining. I did dearly enjoy the last film and I hope there will be more in the future.
from Shawn on 6th Jan 2006 I love the whole ventriloquist / puppet detective team concept. This was a cool movie, and I hope to see more of Trillo and Suede in the future. I think it would be great as a feature length film, or especially as an ongoing television series. Good luck!
from Meltdown on Dec 31, 2005 just got finished watching Oxford Park, and I LOVED it. wish it were longer even.
I especially love the whole concept of a world with puppets living among humans.
